Sunday morning:a public place
Characters:Sampson, Gregory, Abram, Balthasar, Benvolio, Tybalt, Capulet, lady Capulet, Montague, Lady Montague, Prince, Romeo

Gregory and Sampson from the house of the Capulets are talking and mocking each other then Abram and Balthasar of the Montagues enter. The Capulets bite their thumb at the Montagues, this is an insult. So they argue and this leads to a fight, Benvolio enters and beats down their swords to stop the fight. Tybalt of the Capulets enters and argues with Benvolio then they fight. Officers
arrive to stop the fight, Capulet and Montague enter and are eager to fight but their wives stop them. Then the prince enters and stops the brawl and says if they fight again they will be punished with death. After that Lady Capulet and Capulet ask Benvolio to go find Romeo and find out why he is so depressed. Benvolio finds him and talks to him and what he finds out is that Romeo is in love with a girl called Rosaline but she does not seem to love him back.

The Prince says this to attempt to stop this feud with punishment of death.

Lady Montague uses this when she is talking to Benvolio. This means there is ten syllables in each line, this is used to show status and rhythm of speech.
